when my gf's 2.3 cl needed the 60k mi. service....
the dealer was trying to rip us off.
quoting us $598 for that major service.

so we only chose to do:
oil/filter change
rotate tires
auto. trans. service

otherwise, your manual's scheduled services will
not match the dealer's list. they are trying to get
you to pay for more services.

dealler charge a lot and they do a lot of stuff i think THE most important thing that they do is Valve Timing adjustment
and list goes on and on ........ some of them are silly stuff that yeah any local shop can do .......... thet also check timing belt if that needs to be replaced (they probly will tell you that you do need it ) and i was thinking going to honda deallership i m sure it will be less money there ...or maybe not ? does anyone know ?

one more thing, have you guys heard this?

they were trying to sell us this other service....
supposedly new.

Flushing the engine or something.....
where it is supposed to rid your engine of dark dirty oil.
there's a display on their service desk showing you
what clean oil should look like versus dirty oil that is
supposedly in your engine.

i think it was over $100 for that service.

anyone try this????

or just another scam?
