4 fucking hour tire rotation!

Well I woke up at 9 to rotate my tires, get the car all jacked up and take off the first wheel. Go to the 2nd and I brake my 1/2 to 3/8ths adapter . So I call the girl who is at work cause it's tax season. We head to the auto store, I get another adapter, get home, send her off to work and bam, I brake it again. (pep boy fuckers locked it on ) So I call up a buddy, wait 45 minutes and head to the hardware store where I buy another adapter. Then to the plumbing store to get a 4.5' pipe made to get more torque on the bolt. Try to get the bolt off and wham, my fucking breaker bar BROKE!! Go buy another breaker bar, 4 hours later i'm finally done

Man.. I hate it when they use a impact gun and just drill down on it. Anwho My tool of choise is a four sided lug wrench. You get to do the old time race car speed spin too.

Scott,

Your experience sounds just like how my furniture-moving day went!

Everything that could go wrong, went wrong.

When all was done, I was so tired I passed up on an "inviation only" catered dinner, held at the local Ferrari Dealer, celebrating their 1st anniversary!

Sorry to hear scott.

Sounds just as bad as how I was driving my sisters turbo beetle down from big bear lake... after snowboarding... Im only going 35 it is night time and I'm following an RX300 lexus. the SUV...

make a right hand sharp turn, nothing major at all... rear end fishtails to the left... I'm calm readjust, right the car but then the tailend keeps going to the right... next thing I know, the damned front end is skidding... im across the double yellows luckily no oncoming traffic head straght into the metal barrier, the one that keeps you from going over the cliff... im lucky that the barrier actually works... got a pushed in hood on the beetle. I gotta tell my sister, but she is in hawaii at the moment. MUTHA FUCKER. Looks like the bad day thread...

Need a body shop, I am not going to go to the damned dealer.. fuckers'al take a limb.

.......it's called a tire iron. It won't break and it fits most tire lug adapters.

tire iron isn't gonna work as well as a breaker bar, let alone a breaker bar w/ a 4.5' metal poll over it.
