How do you take the 3rd brake light out to replace the bulb?

 

do you really care? you probably have to remove the rear seat to get below where its probably affixed???

i quote the manual:

1. Open the trunk lid, and disconnect the 2p connector from the high mount brake light.

2. Remove the two nuts, then remove the high mount brake light from the rear shelf.

3. Install the high mount brake light in the reverse of removal.

[and finally, this is IMPORTANT!!!!!]

NOTE: Clean the rear window glass before installing the light.

I had a cop following me for like 5 minutes a few days ago. Then he finially pulls me over im like Ohhh god, then he's like I just want to tell you your 3rd brake light is out. He was nice though...He was jus tellin me with some old lady hits me and they see my 3rd brake light was out then I get all in trouble. But newayz I just left it...LAWL! Is there like any hyperwhite BRIGHT brake lights?!

 

Do you think I would be alright taking mine off b/c I have the factory spoiler on my trunk and it has a 3rd brake light. I think it rattles sometimes with the bass also so it is annoying.

 

yea, that should be fine, i think it looks kinda stupid when people have their 3rd brake light AND spoiler light light up when they brake
