I have had my 99 CL since it was brand new and my check engine light had come on so i went to get it checked out and they had to do something to the tranny because it was slipping hopeing that it would fix the problem and not have to get a rebuild for like 3000 but my tranny still seems a little off what should I do my car is over its warr50,000 mile warranty

PS: would it be worth it to wait for the 6 speed tranny they are comming out with for the new CL and how much would a transplant of the 6 speed tranny and all the accessories i would need for it like clutch cost me to buy and have put in

What repair did they do to the tranny or want to do? I suppose an Acura dealer is involved somehow?

They replace a solenoid or something like that and the flused and refilled the fluid they said it sometimes fixes the problem it was a honda dealer same thing i suppose

I think you should look into level ten for a tranny rebuild.it will take a lot of abuse after that.i think it will be under 3k
