Hey all -

First of all let me introduce myself...I'm new to this forum, but I am purchasing a '98 3.0 here in the coming week. I'm not too thrilled about buying an automatic, but I have always loved first-gen CLs and this car is a beaut...silver, with only 60,000 miles. I look forward to modding it...I'm pretty sure suspension will be priority #1 (it needs a drop, and never realized how crappy CLs turning radius is) . I currently drive a 92 Honda Prelude, but it's getting up there in age.

I digress...the car needs a front caliper and my question is this: do any other vehicles share the 3.0 calipers? I've been looking around and it seems that 2.2/2.3 CL/Accord calipers are interchangeable, but they won't work on my car? Do I need to get 3.0 specific calipers, and are they shared with TL or Legend, or something of that nature?

well you can get DP calipers from a legend (only Type II equipped 93-95 GS sedan or LS coupe )and rotors from the prelude

 

The 3.0 calipers are larger than the 2.x calipers, not sure if they match up with a TL, but like he said you can bolt up legend calipers as well, since you're new to the site and modding, let me also point you here for a place to start.
