3.0 6 speed Type S tranny Swap????

is it possible to swap the new type s 6 speed tranny into the 3.0?and if so how much mod's if any would have to be any?

it's possible, but if you are gonna have someone else do the work, it's gonna be expensive

I think it could realisticly be done if you did all the work for 5K. Depending on what you get the motor and tranny for

thanx for the help...and i have someone to do the work for me cheap so it's all good...how much would a tranny cost me btw?

I got quoted 1800 from a dealer w/ a decent discount. If you look real hard you could probably find one cheaper

1800 is actually the best price i've seen so far...i've asked dealerships and the cheapests i've seen is about 3g's. Do u think u could get me a tranny for that price wen i plan on gettin it?
