is it possible to swap the new type s 6 speed tranny into the 3.0?and if so how much mod's if any would have to be any?

 

you would be better off selling your car and buying a different one

 

it's possible, but if you are gonna have someone else do the work, it's gonna be expensive

I think it could realisticly be done if you did all the work for 5K. Depending on what you get the motor and tranny for

 

oh, you just want the tranny.

I got quoted 1800 from a dealer w/ a decent discount. If you look real hard you could probably find one cheaper

 

also go check out the thread on v6performance.net, the guy did a pretty thourough job explaining what needs to be done

 

1800 is actually the best price i've seen so far...i've asked dealerships and the cheapests i've seen is about 3g's. Do u think u could get me a tranny for that price wen i plan on gettin it?
