you would need spacers so that it would give your tire some distance from the control arm. i have 215 right now and it's has about half an inch from the control arm.

i've never heard of anyone using spacers for tire size, only rim offsets etc. You won't have a problem running 245's though. Maybe in the rear when I think about it, but it also depends on your drop. You aren't dropped that much at all so you should have no worries.
I suggest 225/40's. That's what everyone is running.
