I've answered this beforebut I saved the engine work for last because it wasn't worth it for me to be dumping money into the engine when I could buy some parts for the exterior/suspension, etc

After I was done with the other parts I decided to buy some engine parts but never really had any plans of doing any major things because simply, it isn't worth it. I mean lets be real, we have 145hp stock and unless I'm saving up for a swap or going FI, its didn't make sense for me to be dumping money to gain maybe 10hp.

Now if I had a car like a wrx, 240, e36m3, a4 turbo, etc then those have some potential and I would have modded differently.

Not that I don't have much respect for you all who are performance oriented, I do. Esp the guys with swaps and are boosting. Believe me if I won the lotto I'd do some crazy ass engine work to the car.

you know, im not that much into performance either. i mean i have your basic manifold setup and all but ive never done anything real crazy like some of you engine heads here. i mean its sick that you guys can do that stuff and im hella jealous but i dont think i have the money to be doin stuff like that. i blew half my savings back in 2001 to get my car and then countless paychecks trying to get her where she is. im glad theres people like klepto (bro im looking forward to seeing your car at the meet) cause then im not the only one that just wants the car to look nice. i mean for an entry level luxury car, i want to be able to make sure that im happy with her for a long time. i guess someday id like to maybe get a project car but more than likely (since id probably be married in the next 2 years) id probably end up getting a station wagon (either an audi or a subaru) for family purposes. but for right now i just like her looking sexy even if shes not on ferrari status.

last time i was at that beach i was arrested for graffiti. i was doing a mural in one of the bathrooms and when i got to my last letter fill in the ranger came in. it was funny cause he liked my work cause he was an ex graffiti writer but the cops were there with him so he couldnt let me go. i got a fat fine and some community service....after which i was commisioned to do some art work for the city. hahahhaha. i got all my money back that i had to pay afterward. (i just had to tell this story cause everytime i go there i remember it vividly)...

anyway ill probably bring some desert from GL. i mean its mainly a desert store so we'll see. unless theres a red ribbon down there. or a seafood city. and as long as everyone likes patron silver ill get it. its a big ass bottle so i want people to enjoy it. hahah
