I think the only mods I had on my CL were indiglo gauges, Venom 400, and Brembo Rotors/PBR Metal Master Pads.

How things have changed over the past 2 years.


Did you come to this board "already modded" or mod your CL since you've been here?

 

been modding my friends since i got here hahahah=)

 

Started moding about a month ago lol. I signed up but went to college like a year and a half ago and was broke and depressed lol. Now that i'm back in Iowa and a job let the modding begin!

 

Joined 11 months ago, the day before I picked up my car, little modding here and there. Hopefully will be done with a lot after I stop being a broke ass b*tch.

 

i modded up. then decided to sell the car. now after i sold most of my stuff..... i've decided i like my car too much and want to keep it.l

so now i have to buy everything again. i really want my clutch, flywheel, and especially my Greddy exhaust back.

ah well.... time to look for other stuff.

 

I've been here 1 year, 3 months. I couldn't find any mods until I joined A-CL.

 

one month and one day ago i joined this site and it has helped me out a lot with finding mods and accesesories exc. Before that i wasn't able to find shit. I could never find anything for our car. i started of with stock besides the sound system. WW lip, side skirts, clear corners, and indiglow gauges are in the mail.

 

I came here 2 yrs ago next month with a '98 3.0 with all the options and was happy with the way it was....

.....several thousand dollars later..............damn this site

 

gotta love this site.....everyone is willing to help and i have learned a lot. I came with just a couple mods but i know a lot more but i just dont have the $$$$$$$$ JamzCL all i have to say to your last comment is

 

i came stock w. exhaust. now same thing. thousands later my car looks nothing like it did the day i bought it. i joined in aug 00 as a diff name, but after the server change i made vxcl

 

im going on a year and a half and back then i had a all stock car

i have new plans for thte CL, im going ot take a visit to a CL i met on here in San Jose his name is a-cl2die-4 and he is going to show me how to shave off my door guards on top of that im doing the rain gutters too. and pics of this guys car too are to come as well maybe on saturday or thanksgiving day

I just had tint, exaust, and intake. After I joined, I found all the cool shit.

But now, I think it's time to sell the CL soon.

 

I joined under a different screen name, but never posted. When i got on this site, all i had was some 18inch chrome katana exclusives and a drop. Now, a $$ of money later, i think i'm gonna be crowned king of the 2.2's lol

 

Not if you don't hurry up! I'm catchin ya on mods and money spent. I put every cent i make into my 2.2!

 

I guess its been a little more than 2 years and a few G's later as well. This must be the "ode to the 1st gen section" thread:P


Oh and Dennis, If you decide to get rid of the CL, I'd like to lay claim to your Teins (yes i'm a vulture)

I had to go and check, and I joined 2 years ago, but November 1, was my born on date. You mean to tell me I joined A-CL.com before the infamous Dustbuster4 and only have about 1/3 of the total of posts here?

I joined this site bone stock after finding it on an internet search, I had heard of it, but couldn't remember the correct address, and I have been modding my beloved CL ever since!

i have loved this place ever since i found it...i just don't post as much now...i just troll around...heh

 

got a AEM CAI before i joined this site, then after that a lot more mods. then a small accident where i got insurance money, and now i have my crx which plan to put a turbo ZC in it because after my accident another CL plus insurance would be a little to much money for me to spend on a car.

 

damnit.. i was just going to call you and ask if i can buy it back

too bad i sold the clutch and flywheel. i took a loss on those. ah well...... i can always buy new parts.


i didnt sell everything tho. still got the nitrous, cam gear, hid's and misc other stuff that didnt make the chopping block.
now it's just a matter of finding a turbo manifold :devil:

 

my word.. i've been here for more than 2 years!!!... i think the only mod i had was clear corners.. and my subs

 

i've been here for 8 months...stock when i got to the site now i have a 3" drop, clear bumper lenses, debadged trunk and black housings. Of course with more planned...damn this site!! haha

 

I've been here for over 2 years, and since then I've modded out my ride with 2 new window regulators and a set of front and rear breakpads.
