Hi All,

Hope you're having a good day. Mine kinda sucks so far, I'm feeling kinda sick and I got a problem with both cars:

1) Does anyone know how much the 70K maintenance for my 98 Acura would cost? I'm at 68 or 69K and I wanted to get it out of the way.

2) I have a 93 Accord as my beater, so today I start driving and when I get to a light and stop a ton of white smoke comes out of my engine and it gets sucked in through my vents, when I'm driving I don't see it, but when I'm stopped, the car starts to smoke. It doesn't smell like coolant or oil. I've had those before, and initially I just figured that there was moisture on the engine that was evaporating, but you'd think it would all be gone after 40 miles... I have a window washer fluid container leak, so maybe it could be that, the smoke seems to be coming from around the sparkplug area or underneath the engine block... I gotta drive 40 miles home and I should be able to get it checked tomorrow... Any ideas what this could be?

for the first question i think its only like a hundred or so and as for the second question it sounds like an oil leak to me or i would it could be a bad gasket ....good luck

 

There's no specified maintenance for 70K.

At 75K, they recommend: changing engine oil and oil filter, replace engine coolant. That's it!

You could do this yourself pretty cheap!

I think I'll get a tune up at 70K then. Maybe change the air filter as well.
