Chip changes can be very bad for your engine if not done properly. It can change your emissions and cause serrious problems with your V-Tec. Be very cautious. What about the guy you bought the chip from? Has he any manuals or specs for you? Good luck... I will check with some friends, If they have an answer, I'll get it to you., and again, good luck.

Chipping will yeild the same hp #'s that a vafc could. If I were you, I would get a vafc and call it a day, chipping is for professionals, and obviously either the shop you took it to don't know what their doing, or the guy who sold you the chip set you up. Btw, what brand chip is this?
