2.3 Manual CL - Is it fun to drive?

Hello Everyone,

I'm thinking about buying a manual trans. CL. Are these things fun to drive? Do they have enough power? What else should I look for in this car? I'm pretty uneducated about it thus far...

Thank for the help!

PJ

If you want to have fun driving definetly buy a 5spd over the 3.0 AT and about power, well it depends on how much is enough. Which for EVERYONE in this forum is never enough
so buy the 5spd and the money saved over the 3.0 use it to mod and youll be happy.

I have a 2.2 5sp and it is a blast to drive. Could it have more power, sure, but I'm a poor, about to graduate, college kid so it does perfectly well for me.

bro if you want a fast car than the cl is not the way to go, but if you want a pimp out looking car where you can ride and holla at hunnies than the cl is the way to go.
btw im selling my cl for 11Gs if youre interested i can list everything. email me or call me at 408 315 1524 ask for vu

i have a 2.3 5 sp with intake header exhaust stage 2 clutch and flywheel and its a blast to drive because of the torque, it lacks horsepower though, so modding it would be a good idea or consider a prelude

if you can find a used tranny and an ecu go ahead. but if you going to spend more than 1500-2000, i'd go get an h22 conversion and have 195 hp than 165 hp

you can always turbo your f23

I enjoy my 2.3 5spd, its nice filling up with regular fuel and only having the repair/maintenance costs of an accord. Its not fast, but I will say that its probably more fun than the v6. Driving stick = intimacy with your car

its nice having a 5spd and all, but it sucks that it has no balls to back it up

A 5 speed is the only way to go. I bought my CL new and picked the 2.3 over the 3.0 for that very reason.
