I have a '99 Acura 2.3 CL an i would like to get some aftermarket parts for it

I found this when i was looking for engine specs

F23A1 - USDM 2.3LSOHC VTEC- 98+ Accord EX & LX, 98-99 2.3CL

so wouldn't that kinda imply i need 98 Accord EX parts?

from some of the posts i have read on here you guys are saying to get 94-97 Accord EX parts ... the the motor in those are the 2.2LSOHC VTEC.... so which am i supose to look for. I also had a guy at Tintmaster Motorsports tell me he had a buddy that owned a 3.0 CL and he had to get 98 Accord parts to fit his. So, my question is which parts do i look for??

 

Well, the chassis is the same as the 94-97 accord, so unless you're buying engine internals, you'll need parts of that year Accord.

 

Prentice, I know your new and very excited about start moding your CL. But please try using the search feature to answer some of your questions. You posted 3 threads with pretty much the same questions. If you can't find you answers by searching then please post a new thread and ask as many questions as you want but try to keep them all on one thread.

And once againto answer your question, you need 94-97 Accord parts for everything. From your engine to your suspension the answer is 94-97 Accord.

F22 and the F23 are pretty much the same size. if u get the 98+ accord parts like headers and full cat back exhuast...thats not gonna fit right. get everything 94-97 accord.

 

the 3.0CL use the 98+ accord engine but have the chassis and suspension of the 94-97 accord v6 (which is a 2.5L) so engine wise for the 3.0, we get parts fromt he accord, but everything else its the same as the 94-97
