-boost controller set to 19lbs (13 stock i believe)
-wastegate
-blow off valve
-down pipe w/ no cat
-cat back
-intake

he has some pretty nice tires, i'm on michelin all seasons .. anyways we raced from a dig and i beat him by half a car up to 85-90 he was getting more traction than i was but oh well.....

with what he's got, he should be running low 13's or high 12's.......your juiced cl doesnt run that time. unless he horribly sucks ass at driving or missed a gear

Depends. If it's the earlier SRT-4, which didnt come with LSD, they wont come close to those times without traction. Not everyone can run the "best" times humanly possible everytime they get into a car.

Very true when they are close to stock. But once modded, goodbye older gen SRT. My friends varried around 1/2 sec faster when over 300whp. Either way, they pull hard...again, nice kill.

 

Soon, when u say ur going to race an SRT-4, ur going to be reffering to a 300hp SUV-thing, how ackward..

 

do you have any other powermods besides juice? im a doubt that it'll cut 4secs off your time with just juice and no other mods. but if you really did get a car on him then congrats.....heres mine

hes got one of the fastest 1st gen's because first gens arent fast
the caliber uses the 4g64 from the lancer ralliart and new eclipse, and ralliarts are running about mid 14's but they have 160hp, while the new caliber has a board out version of the 4g64 with 300hp, but im guessing it'll run high 13's because its basicly an suv

 

I never said first gens were fast, I said he's got one of the quickest. You can sit around and bitch about how slow your stock CL is all you want. Don't hate on the guy that is pushing 220 whp, 240 ft lbs and beating SRT 4's. The CL is what you make it.

 

What can I say... sometimes it's all about the driver not the car!

i'm making more than 219/239, plus the tranny obviously helps a lot, if i see him tonight i'l race him on video.. might not even beat him again who knows it was super damn close

okay maybe redo your research a bit HERE on AZINE... his last track stint took him to low 14's w/a bleh 60 ft. And that was BEFORE the h22 tranny.

 

the old srt-4 ran 14.1 stock, which is still faster than his. the newer srt-4's run 13.9 stock.
so yeah with the mods that guy had he had to be running low 13's high 12's. while shiney's run was a 14.8, now the old stock srt4 could beat him, and if a stock one lost to him i could understand, but a modded one like this? i call

 

it just doesnt make sense to me, a guy with a much lighter car, much more hp and tq...... unless this was like a 1/8 mi race i dont see how the srt4 lost

 

Also, you should factor in the fact that not everyone who drives an SRT is a Street master... in fact, I'd say 9 out of 10 dont even deserve a drivers license

f22 tranny has lower ratio gears except 3rd. and also their 1st gear ratio is the same

I personally believe him and say nice kill, but hey i guess everyone has their own opinion and are able to voice it which is why we live in this country. When i had my CL, i had beat cars that people would have called BS on me, but its all in the moment.

credibility is not the issue here, it was either a really short race, or the dude sucks at driving and shiney's isnt comfiriming the dude sucks at driving

 

this is exactly why the rest of the tuner world perceives acura and honda driver's cocky, and stupid because we think we're fast

 

well he said he raced to about 90 and his speedometer reads 5mph slower than he actually is going because of the h22 speedsensor and his trap speed in the quarter is somewhere around 98 so the race was just about a 1/4 mile

 

i guess i need to visit more often... when did shiney change his name.. and when did he get an h22 tranny swap..?

any thing is possible with them srt's. ive beaten them with my tl-s just headers. and ive been dead even with them from a 50 roll with my 3.0 cl i/h/e. maybee he just cought him slippin. why would he have to come on here and lie.. good kill pimpin..

the reason why "the rest of the tuner world perceives acura and honda driver's cocky, and stupid" is because they're extremely popular cars. and you could say that the majority of honda owners are "cocky" and "stupid", but the same thing could be said about any type of car that idiots drive. even though i find shiney narrow-minded at times, he didn't come off as cocky. he wasn't praising himself ontop the altar about the victory he had won. he didnt have a 4th of july fireworks display with banners saying "I BEET A SRT4 WITH NOS". if you think his times were bs, then let it be. the thing you gotta recognize is who are the ones that are putting themselves up for the test. you can either argue about what the race "should've" been like under different scenario's or you can do something about it, and prove a point. i can tell you one thing (nobody in particular. generally), the people who are all talk are the ones with nothing to show.
