![Question](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
When buying my 3.0 CL, I knew of the unavailability of aftermarket applications for the car. My stock muffler has a little dent on the corner so I thought about replacing it. When it comes to exhaust, I'm a little picky about it. I was looking for a true bolt-on rear muffler section, and found this:

Now looking at the 2.2, 2.3 muffler
Comparing it with the 3.0 muffler
How is it different between the two? Would the 2.x rear muffler fit the B-pipe of the 3.0??

the 2 liter exhaust piping is smaller than the v6. it won't bolt right on unless you go to a shop and weld that section on. i bought my v6 a while back and the hks that you've posted up is the one that i wanted to purchase, but a local shop told me that it will not bolt right on and that im better off doing a custom catback system.

I assume that it should fit. Worse case scenario is that you end up having to weld the HKS
exhaust to your stock b-pipe. I think you should do it.
