Although I would love to get the 3.0, I am a bit worried about the failing trans I hear people talking about....or is it not that bad? anyways...i have 2.2 and its really not getting up and GO. I was wondering if its worth getting rid of it for a 98 2.3? since its 150hp..is it worth it?...Autos since i cant drive a manual. I really love the grill that that year and with the 2.2..i hate the fact that the radio is so easy to be taken out.

I have a 2.3 There probably not much a difference u can feel. You can get a h22a which some peeps on here have done. That is a big upgrade. Any considering the cost it not too bad. Turbos and Superchargers for our cars easily run in the 3000-4000 range.
