Question 1997 Acura CL - Cooling issue... Neither fan cuts on.

I just purchased a 1997 Acura CL 2.2 straight drive the other day from a friend. It's started to overheat recently and after replacing the thermostat and that not fixing the problem, he expected the worse and never fooled around with it again. Now, it's my problem.

He assumed it was the head gasket but he has no real mechanical knowledge. He apparently never noticed that neither fan cuts on (even when you cut the A/C on). This seems to be the obvious problem. Does this sound like the ECT switch? If so, where is it located on these?

Thanks everyone! I'm excited to be a new member in the Acura community!!!

Yep, it's the fan switch, search around, a number of people have posted about changing this.

Awesome, thanks! Is this a part I can get at AutoZone or should I go to the dealer? What's the part number?

Sorry for the double post, I don't see how to edit.

Pretty sure that one doesn't kick on all the time?
