16's worth it?
16's worth it?
Do you guys think it would be a waste of money by replacing my stock wheels with another set of 16's that look better and are lighter. Is the straight-line performance difference so little that it would be worth sacrificing to get 17's for better looks?
I'm a fairly conservative guy and I've been shopping for wheels. I would upgrade to 17's. The cost margin is minimal but the esthetics would greatly improve.
Besides...I think it's a law isn't it? You must get larger rims if you're going aftermarket/custom.

honestly, it's not really even worth it on our cars, go w/ some light weight 18's. I still lost time off my stock times w/ my light weight 18" wheels
When I get back to the states (in about 3 months), I think I'm going to go with 17's. After I drop my car first.
I know our cars are not made for performance but I don't want to hurt my performance too much. I have a big family and most of my cousins are into the import scene and I don't want any of them embarrassing me too bad.
