100k timing belt and service

I am going to get timing belts/water pump done soon. I will probably have the tensioner thingy changed as well. Should I have my mechanic change the cam seals even if they look fine? I am thinking of changing to Mobil 1. Should I change the cams seals because of that?

Also, I will likely have the plugs changed too (I'm almost at 100K). What kind of plugs does Honda recommend, and is this info readily available to my independent mechanic?

Apparently the plugs for the 3.0 are about $17 apiece but some here on ACL say they're not necessary.

my mechanic said that the water pump isn't necessary to change...too big of a job when it doesn't need to be changed...he also said if a problem does happen that you could fix it then without having problems...

That's what preventative maintenance is for. When the mechanic has everything ripped apart to replace the timing belts, you might as well pay the extra $100 in materials and get the water pump replace too. Otherwise, it will cost you another $500-$1000 in labor to get it replaced later when it goes bad...
