#&!%*#@!!!!!!

So, I'm "breaking in" my newly installed front wheel bearings and new front (Brembo) rotors/(Axxis Metal Master) pads this AM, and some ricer passes me.

I stomp on the gas and the nitrous propels me like a rocket . . . .

right over a hill and into the watchful eyes of the local Popo and his fucking radar gun!!!!!

Ticket: $275 for doing 70 mph in a 40 zone! Damn thing is that I had just hit 70 mph (not like I'd been doing 70 for any length of time).

This should officially send me to "Driver Improvement Classes", and my insurance company will most likely drop me!

FUCK!

BTW: The CL is running fantastic!

EDIT: For those who know, it was on Middlebrook Road, East just after going under I-270 (towards 355). Be careful!!!!

Dusty we have a shit load of local mountain roads out here. I'm in my dads new C5 a few months back cruising up, I go through a long sweeper at 80 and hit about a mile straight and just punch it when I hear my V1 go off, look in front see a cop, look at the speedo and i'm doing 110 He said he clocked me in the high 90's and noticed I was still accelerating.

some how some way, God blessed me and the cop gave me a warning I couldn't believe it.

Yeah,

Remember going under I-270 out towards 355 to get to Home Depot. He was sitting in the very most left lane (turn only lane) about 1/3 mile past the I-270 bridge. Sitting out there as plain as day! I just never expected him to be there. The cops usually hide behind that building that I pointed out (on the right), just before the I-270 bridge.

It's my own stupid fault!

BTW: The other dude had already slowed down (as I had KILLED his little rice ass). He must have still been speeding, but I was the "better catch".

No,

I took the 100-shot pills out, earlier this week.

I'm only going to use them at the track, not on the street.

At this rate, I may decide to NOT use N2O on the street; period.

It gets me in too much trouble!

The eye is healing well!

It only hurts a little, and the bluriness is disapating.

Rick, whoa that was close, like Katie said, i read the preview and i thought you rear ended someone, good thing its only a ticket and you didnt total your baby ( not your real one)

hope the ticket goes ok,, note to self, always plead NOT GUILTY cause the fine will always be reduced and you can tell them you were trying to accelerate going over teh hill and did not notice your spedometer, i got a ticket for going about 77 in a 45 and i got the fine reduced from a driver lisences suspensiona nd a 370 dollar fine, in a construction zone, to getting teh suspension thrown out the window and a fine of 107, its worth a shot, the legal system is all fishy and you can get around thing and get your fine reduced if you know what you are doing

Hope you get this resolved, good luck

hey man i thought it was highly illegal to carry the bottle inthe car on the streets? automatic impund in california i thought, he didnt smell the NOS when he walked upto you car?

Bottle should be kept on the track but oh the power and the hidden surprise for those little ricers, nice going on the blow but sorry about the ticket man

N2O doesn't smell

and i'm not sure in cali if it's an automatic impoud, it would be if you were racing. But I know you do get ticketed if you have the bottle line hooked up.

Damn Rick!

I'm glad it wasn't worse, and I just killed a Maxima earlier today so that's 2 kills and one shitty ticket - I posted the kill in the kill section.

I say register and complete the Driver Improvement course ASAP and take the certificate with you to court. If you show them you are responsible, and plead with the judge not to give you points, you may walk away with just a fine - that's a whole lot better than points if you are worried about the insurance company dropping you.

that's not neccessarily true. if you see the cop in the courtroom, plead GUILTY but with an explanation (most likely, with a good explanation, the judge will let you pay only the court fee and wouldn't put any point on ur license). you don't wanna always go against the cops. the judge would trust a cop before trusting you. just suck-up to the judge (and perhaps cop) when the cop is in the courtroom. anyhow, if you do NOT see the cop in the courtroom, then plead NOT GUILTY; since he's not around there won't be anyone to prove ur guilt and the judge will let u go free without paying the court fee or ticket fine or gettin any point. i've been thru the system so many times (at least 15 times) so i've prefected my skills.

btw: rick, you wanna trade cars so WE won't have to worry about the insurance company and tickets and all that stuff? lol. but sorry to hear that and good luck in court. and have fun in that class. i took one of those classes and the instructor was nice enough to let us stayed only 1 1/2 hours instead of the scheduled 6 (or 7 hrs, i think).

i've never seen so many police in one area!!!!
usually in most places when you see a cop, you can let your guard down some because there wont be one for a while - WRONG!!!! not where Rick lives
