Wind noise from sunroof when sunshade open

I have noticed a lot of wind noise from the sunroof area when the sunshade is open. I've done searches for this but haven't found anyone with a fix. I have adjusted the position of the sunroof and there is no improvement. also pushing up on the sunroof doesn't change the noise. So I have determined that it is not coming from the sunroof, I think the noise has to be coming from somewhere else like a rear side window or the windshield. Does anyone have any ideas on this? I have a relative that owns a auto glass shop, I may sit in the car and have him blow compressed air around all the windows to see where it is coming from.

Yes, its only above about 40 mph that you start to hear it, up to that it may be to quiet to hear. It doesn't start all of a sudden but kind of builds the faster you go.

Hm, you sure its just not wind turbulence from the open sunroof? Can it be resolved by getting a sunroof visor?

Just took it out for lunch with the sunshade open, sunroof closed, and everything else off. I got up to about 45 and heard a slight wind noise if anything. Hopefully i'll be able to check it out a little more later tonight. 2 min commute ftw.

do you have anything on your roof rack? also if you have a 07+ you can remove the cross rails which lowers noise

I've noticed the same noise that the OP is referring to when traveling on the interstate. I have the roof rack on our MDX and I'm sure that it contributes to the noise. It really is amazing how much the noise is cancelled when you do close the shade.
