Resetting service message B1 on a 2008 mdx
I will be doing the service my self, just bought the vehicle and it was pre serviced so not much to be done, just put new tires on it. Forgot to ask what is the reset process

Owner Manual says to go to your dealer, saw a post for a 2004, but not the same process for a 2008, dash is configured differantly. There must be a way to do it yourself just need to find it. Hope someone out there can help?

from page 387 of the 2009 MDX OM:
1) turn key to ON (II) position
2) if oil life is not displaying, Press sel/reset button until you get to blank screen, tire pressure and SHAWD
3) press and hold SEL/RESET for 10 sec+.
4) oil reset will pop up on display select "reset" or cancel using the up or down button. press SEL/RESET and the oil life should reset to 100%.
this is not quite word for word, but this is the procedure.
where is YOUR OM?
BTW, google is your friend
