Depends on year/make/model of your MDX, the level of performance you want/need, and how much $$$ you want to spend.

You can just do:
- pads
- pads+rotors
- Pads+rotors+brake lines
- pads+rotors+brake lines+calipers

You still might need to upgrade your tires if braking is still an issue. SUV econ tires with long treadlife will increase your emergency braking distance compared to other sporty/high performance tires.

I would check out Heel Toe Automotive and Excelerate Performance:

I went with:
Continental DWS P255/45ZR-20 (lighter and better grip than OEM tires)
HeelToe stage II brake upgrade kit (Racing brake slotted rotors and Carbotech 1521 pads)
20" RonJon Legacy Type II Custom Graphite face with machine lip (lighter than OEM 19" rims)

I upgraded my brakes because I tow, posted speed limit is 75-80 mph in the states I travel, elevation range from sea level (LA, Houston) to 11,000 feet (Steamboat Springs, CO), and I love to use the 'sh' of the sh-awd on the curves.

Mr gold, anymore photos of your car? I am interested in a similar brake setup and wondering what a full side profile shot might look like. Thanks.

Fastbrakes has a 6-piston 2-piece rotor BBK availible for the MDX. I believe it's $1500 which is pretty good for what you get. I have there rear BBK on my Type-S and I absolutly love it.
