I have a leak from rain in rer of 2008 MDX. Dribbles near the rear most cup holder. Any ideas?

Two thoughts come to mind, the first one is check the rubber molding around the windows to see if there are any punctures or tears. The second one is check the molding around the rear tail gate, when I had my MDX I remember it would collect a lot of water from the roof that would go down the side of the hatch and out from just above the rear bumper. If that seal is loose/out of place/torn a lot of water can seep into the car and collect near that cupholder.
