Post Disclosure page won't allow me to press OK

I recently bought a 206 MDX AND ITS HIT AND MISS with the OK button on the disclosure page of the navigation. When it works, I press OK and the system works perfedtly. The thing is that most of the time when I press OK it will not respond and the screen turns black. It works when it wants to and is very frustrating. Anyone else have this problem?

I think that can indicate the touch screen ISNT working correctly. MAYBE, needs replacement.
the other thing i can think of...and I dont know the answer to is...capacitive vs resistive touch screens. IF the MDX has a resistive touch screen, that MAY be the problem...as resisitive touch screens are not always as quick to respond as capacitive screens

Welcome to AZ! I've moved your thread to the 1G MDX section so that folks who know your car better can provide input.

Maybe try disconnecting the battery and waiting for 30 minutes: it might just need a aort of "reset" like how the Iphone and other smart phones sometimes need to be turned ioff and back on to fix a small glitch.

I did it all I disconnected the battery for an hour gave my correct codes both radio and nav but it's still on the blink. So I say fuck it and I'll just bring my old tom tom along for back up. It works perfect but only when it wants to so I'll just learn to live with it. But when it workss, it's awesome

2006 MDX Navigation

It used to be that the OK button on the disclosure page was stuck. Now after disconnecting the battery for an hour {I did this twice} and putting in the proper codes The screen said: to wait while it finds signals, the disclosure page comes up and OK is stuck. I manage to get it turned on then all buttons are stuck WTF is going on? My $100 tom tom never sticks!
