Clicking/ticking sound when turning
Greetings:
I have a 2012 MDX with about 45K miles. In 2017, I went to the dealership to have them look into a clicking/ticking sound from the front wheel area when I turn left at low speeds. They said axles need to be changed and promptly did that. However, the sound is back. It is possible that the clicking was never resolved and I just did not notice it. I say this because the sound can't be heard from inside the vehicle. I just happened to have the window rolled down and I heard it.
I found a video someone posted that sounds very similar to what I hear -
.
Any idea what it might be?
Thanks.
JJ

Man you are eating through CV axles. Are you taking turns as if you were on a bike? . All jokes aside, it's probably failed again.. You can turn your wheels when the car is parked and have a look with a flashlight or reach behind to where the cv axle boot is and see if any grease has come out of the boot or if the boot is torn open. The grease is greenish color I recall. It's sticky and thick so easy to spot.
