Its that time again to have my timing belt, water pump and plugs replaced.
Anyone have any good deals on this service.
I have used Pit Stop before.
Any input would be appreciated especially in the DuPage county area.

Find a local guy, on FaceBook knows how to change your timing belt. Shouldn't charge more than $300, for his labor.

Many have used the Aisin tkh002 timing belt kit, so it's a proven product. E-bay has it for $163
You need to provide a gallon of antifreeze. You should buy the Zerex Asian brand, for imports.

If you research the parts, you'll find that Acura OEM parts are mostly made by Aisin, Koyo, etc.

So saw something interesting, for Canadian MDX the recomended Timing belt service is at 100k KMs(~62K Miles) while on US its 105k Miles(168k KMs).

Clearly shows its driven by Stealership needs than car needs.

Winters are more severe in Canada than most of the Americas.

My MDX has seen NY/NJ, Minnesota & Toronto Winters. The 2nd of them gets the harshest winter which one should I follow
