Question 2006 MDX Clucking in the rear.

My 06 MDX I can hear it clucking in the rear near the spare tire only going straight in Reverse and Drive at less then 5mph. I checked the spare tire cable it's tight. Acura can't figure it out. The more I think about it the more I'm guessing it's the differential mounts. I need some inputs.

It sounds like the differential mounts. Even Acura can't figure it out? Is there another dealer nearby where you can take it to? It should still be under warranty. Maybe your sway bar links/bushings? I had a problem with them in my TL.

There is a few Acura near me. I take it back to the same Acura (I bought it from) and just switch teams.

What do you mean switch teams? Take it to a different mechanic at the same dealer?

rear diff fluid needs to be changed then drive it in circle 8's and it will go away. or the drive shaft is going.

The dealer have there own teams like Team A, Team B, etc. I have a couple of mechanics there at that dealer that I really trust and one of them fixed my Integra that other Acura dealership could not figure it out.

The person that was assign to my MDX left and they brought in a Chevy service manager in and my mom took it in for that same clunking noise and that chevy guy said it was normal. I told mom to bring it home and I will take care of it so I'm taking it to the other team that fixed my Integra.

Sounds like a good idea, according to what 240sx said. This is probably something that the dealer should fix.

240SX is correct. There is a TSB for clunking in the rear on 2001-2006 MDX's (TSB 04-023). The TSB is for clunking when making turns though. Does yours only clunk when moving fwd and aft in a straight line?
