Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can help me?

I am looking for the location of my stock amp in my 2004 acura mdx, it has the full bose system. I want to add an aftermarket amp with aftermarket subs, but keep the stock headunit. Can anyone help me out here?

I think the amp is built into the headuint, or somewhere way before the stock sub location. The good new is that you can tap into the lines that go into the sub and pull the signal right from there without any problems. Thats how mine was done, let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Thanks alot that really helps! Few questions though, Did you use the Line out converter? And how did you tap into the sub lines? I really want to avoid removing the headunit itself, too much of a headache and I do not want to tamper with anything.

Yes we did use a line out convertor, we used the positive and negative terminals that plug in right behind the sub and it worked fine.
