Bay Area Meet...Feb 7th?
Since there is renewed interest in a meet...let's have one on the 7th of Feb., I would have one on the 31st, but I have to work that Saturday. No 14th cuz its Valentine's and more ppl than not won't show up.....
Who's in and then we can figure out where we'll meet.....k?

well, i'm not trying to take anyone's spot i am just really anxious about a meet in the bay area and i think dave and busters is a great spot, so everyone that wants to come just say what time is good so we can get together

On a serious note though. We had a meet there before and here are the reasons NOT to have one there.
Parking is for shit..
We can't hangout by the cars..
Rentacops think they are cops and chase us around...
Food isn't all that... (we gotta eat )
Anyone who isn't 18 can't go in..
Hanging out, shooting the shit, by the cars and taking pics is the best part of the meet. We can't do this at Dave and Buster's.

Dennis: if you are 18 you can enter as long as you have someone that is 25 or over, and i think we have a couple of grandpa's in this group
i think i can call there and ask them if we can hang out and let the parking lot know of our presence first b4 the meet
what about, i used to work at oconnor hospital and the top level of the garage is always free most of the time, and its near valley fair mall, or we can meet at my house, in san jose, my old elementary school has a nice size lot and i am good in over there since i tutor there for almost 8 years, and if we do it on a saturday im sure there wont be any cars and it would be nice
afterwards i we can have a bbq at my house 20 feet away from the school
but anyone else down? the school is called bagby elementary

i still think we can go to dave and buster's as long as were not fucking around too bad the rent a cops wont harass us, and if you guys dont wanna meet there we can meet at this guys house for a bbq, but i think we should be ok, lets meet up soon guys, anyone down to meet this weekend at dave and buster's ???

I'm down.. 7th sounds good.. just name the place..
I would suggest somewhere more centralized or maybe more forgiving for meets..
Bridgepoint of the 92 has always been a good place.. I've always liked meeting there.. and a Belly Buster at Armadillo Willy's sounds mighty tasty.
other options are in Santa Clara by the AMC 20, they just built a new In-N-Out there too..

another really good place is in santa clara next to amc or in union city next to krispy kreme where there are a lot of car meets and is a welcoming atmosphere, anyways, let's decide where and what time , so the date is chosen and will be the 7th ??? it's either santa clara amc, union city krispy kreme or d and b milpitas ????

Hey sup...im from Union City...Kirspy Krem is a great place...mah brother is from the Impreza CLub and they have a meet every tuesday...but i was thinkin...we can meet at dave n busters..n go for a long ride...u guys ever heard of Old Mines Road...we can Drive up from the san jo side to Mount Hamalten...then kickit up there..then drive on Old Mins Road...wich takes us all the way into Livermore...And we can find a place around there we can all just post up...lemme kno wha u all think bout dat?

Just out of curiousity...for all those who want to meet at D&B...why do you guys wanna meet there? Usually this is what happens when we go to D&B:
-We start off with a nice big group (25-30 cars). We stand around and shoot the shit for like 30mins before security rolls around and tells us that we can not loiter on private property like that.
-Before we even go inside, 5-10 people will leave. Another 5-10 will leave within 15 minutes.
-Everyone starts breaking off into "groups".
-The only game that even involves more than two people playing is that Daytona game. That only allows 6 or 8 people to play at one time.
-Don't forget that at D&B, you can easily end up spending $20 or more to just play games.
-By the time we're 1-2 hrs in, our group is reduced to only about 10 people max.
I would personally recommend a place where we can either go and all sit down and eat or what not. Or a place where we can just meet and chill.

How about T.G.I. Friday's in Vallco Village Shopping Center in Cupertino? There's a parking lot across from the T.G.I. and next to 280 that's usually empty most of the time.

well i guess the next best place would be union city next to the movie theatre and in front of krispy kreme, there are a bunch of places to eat there, nice location, and also the security wont bother us there are always numerous car club meetings there so dont worry about that, and sunol is not bad either

Well the thing with UC on a weekend..its prety packed....so if theres a big show of cars...we can meet there....if you guys are down for sunol...dat;ll be better..theres a big area were we can park..n lots of picnic tables...we only gotta pay the parkin fee....then we can probally take calveras road to milpetas..just for a drive........

either one one is good for me, the ups and downs are that union city is free and has places to eat but is packed, and sunol you have to pay and there is no food unless we bbq, so guy where do you wanna go ???
