Do relationships change?

im in high school now and i see all this bullshit that seems so teenager-ish in relationships. i cant think of any examples, but im sure you know what i mean. do relationships change when you get older?

the feeling i get from "dating and relationships" thread is "no", but i really hope they do

yes they do
also you are surrounded by rich girls and most jewish
That makes it 10 times worse
I know I grew up there too.

I think college is a dumb place for relationships too, because you just wanna have sex. But after 22 or so things start becoming normal.

That's why when i'm baout 35 I will go after some mid 20s.

Hopefully they do, although there are plenty that live in that high school young teenage mentality forever.

If you don't like the bullshit, then don't participate in the bullshit. You'll find someone who feels the same way. They're out there.

And if you're that young, there's no reason to have a relationship or worry about relationships. Date. Have fun. Learn. Grow. Wait until your in your late 20s or 30s to have a relationship.

relationships will change and you will see the changes as you get older. one problem in long relationships(yrs) have is not changing with their surroundings and dif stages in life. like hs sweethearts going to college. hardly ever works bc college is all about having fun and having all the new experiences. college is what helps you mature to the real adult when you get out. i truly believe if you dont experience the 'college life' then you wont see the whole big picture. not saying that is right but i really believe that it helps. people who dont party or stay with the same person dont know what its like to be with other ppl and learn the small things being in dif types of relationships, etc. know what i mean?

My first marriage went down in flames after 2.5 years. We were BOTH way too young. I waited till I was 37 to remarry....too a woman almost 12 years younger. My advice...WAIT!!!

BTW: This marriage ROCKS, no games or fighting EVER!!!

My marriage was to my girlfriend from college. We met right before college, ended up at the same school, and were married for 5 years, together for 10 years (18-28)...waaaaaay too young to know what was up in the world.

I agree Bill...37 sounds like a good age to think about marriage again...6 years to go.
