I used to have only the front and rear...it looks fine and most people won't even notice but for those who know about it, it will seem incomplete

Without A-Spec:

With A-Spec:

The sides themselves are not a huge eyecatcher. If you don't know to look for the kit, they probably wouldn't make a difference to you at all. With that said, if I saw a car with only the front/rear with the regular sideskirts, it'd look weird to me.

side skirts or the lack of them on type s are less noticable. if it's a base, it's more noticable that they aren't there. But only people with TLs can tell you don't have them. I didn't have them on my car and I had the front and back on and no one ever said anything about it.

Same here, to each his own. But just adding the front(which is the setup i have), I think makes the biggest difference. Adding the back part also improves the look but the sides are very subtle and only enthusiasts or owners of a TL will notice.

If you want to wow the general population, just get the front/rear because they won't know the difference.

If you want to wow the general population + TL enthusiasts, get the full kit.

If you want to be a ricer, get the front/rear and take off your factory sideskirts.

I'm just not a fan of the Aspec nose. I'm good with the side skirts and rear end, but I just can't get over the bubble-eyes around the fogs.

I agree about the nose.
I agree about the side skirts.

but I don't like the a-spec rear end. I like the TLS rear end.

*trying to find a pic of a TLS with only the a-spec side skirts. hopefully not too much of an obstruction by itself. I may have to stick with the TLS side skirts. But still, I think my base 05 side skirts are more flat than the TLS skirts.

I have thought about just getting the front and rear and skipping sides but I went with the full kit and it does make a difference. It is noticeable, the side skirts are a tad bigger and stands out. I would go for the full kit if you can.

EDIT: ha, didn't notice the thread was 8 months old.

This is what I am thinking .. just in Black. haha

It is "off" a little at the rear tire. I think it is covering up too much of the tire. but it was the closest resize I could get.
