MP90 supercharger retrofitted to the MP62 Comptech Kit
Yes, it comes down to CFM of air flow, even Eatons own documentaion states that the M62 is only for 3.0L or smaller engines, so even under mid throttle the engine is struggeling to get air thru the blower, being a roots blower it does not have pull thru like a centrifical. Now the MP62 will work on stock engines, but is far from efficent and would cause greater parasitic loss across the powerband. the M90 is rated by eaton for a 3.0L to 5.7L engine and looking at the docs they were not even taing into account our "heavy breathing" Honda designs.
Now what I am waiting for is more OE designs using the new TVS blowers but it will be quite a while before they start showing up in the junk yards so we can get them as cores for a resonable price, right now the M90 equivelant is going for almost $3K just for the core blower vs the $200-$300 I can get the Gen3 M90s for......

However it would be nice to be able to have at least 1.5L to be comparable to those 3.8L SCed pontiac motors.
Plus it says something that the 1.3L is being used on the 2.0L Ecotec motor for Cobalts, and Redline. then again it is being used without to many problems on the Audi's 3.0L motor in their S5 convertibles.

delete the space between the red and line
edit: the hood has already been cut out for the swap, so why not just make it taller
only a little additional trimming would be necessary to make it fit

Is it just me or does that not look fast at all?
He goes from 87mph to 105mph (hes saying 140 then 170kph) in 4 seconds (13 second mark to 17 seconds mark in the vid).
For a supercharged J35 Civic thats kind of sad.

I think he said it was only at 1/2 or 3/4 throttle and he still needed a tune.
"Getting onto the highway at about 3/4 throttle. Not really pushing the car it runs a lil lean."
everything that was on the car is for sale in the black market. LMK

He bought just the adapter parts I made to fit the MP90 into the MP62 kit. I still have everything else for sale including the MP90 itself. Make me REASONABLE offers please. I need to get rid of it.
MP90 unit is gone. I still have the whole MP62 supercharger kit and a ton of other parts if anyone is interested. I have all the parts to make an Air-to water intercooler for the comptech kit if anyone wants to buy all the parts. They were all about $1000 new and I would be willing to take any offers. cores, hoses, pumps, elbows, radiators, etc.
any more details and price on the air to water intercooler kit

Speeds he was claiming were BS. He was hardly catching that Civic and saying he was going 170.
