What the heck is up with some of these TL's with funky colored wheels?! I don't get it. Slowly the TL is becoming a civic.

Meh.... the typical colors are too boring. I want something that nobody else has. My next setup will be rainbow colored wheels!

 

 

Maybe a autox/track setup? I wouldn't rep it in the street, but if they are light, cheap, and good, I dont really care what color they are.

 

 

Gotta see a side shot to judge. I think red woulda looked better on the silver though

That Lego spoiler was a joke. And Eric's TL is like no one else's on here. 98% of Azine like it.
His mods and ideas are popular because they made his ride what it is today. Not because he's the quarterback on the varsity football team. So try again with the highschool comment.

 

We aren't being overly harsh or cliquish. The majority of us have similar aesthetic sensibilities (read: not blue wheels), so you can expect similar criticisms throughout when something comes along that goes *against* those sensibilities.

 

i think they are gross. you are taking a classy car and turning it into a civic. civic's are known for the young who have no sense of style.

And his blue wheels is what makes Nitrous' car what it is today!

The only comment that makes me upset is calling it a "civic" because of the blue wheels. But whatever, it is what it is!

i'm not sure about the blue...on silver paint. i'm not sure about blue on anything though. maybe a blue TL with matching wheels? maybe cotton candy?

And I agree with what -MiG- said, this guy is getting flamed for just putting on some blue wheels (which may or may not be Volks) and the "Space Shuttle Car" ACCURATEin's car never gets flamed. Other than the TE37s, CTSC, and Project MU BBK, his car is rice as shit. I've been confused since the day I joined this forum as to why his car his "praised" on here. He has a frigin rear diffuser from an S2k hanging off his bumper for God's sake.

 

The only contradiction is "bright blue wheels I don't care what brand, style, offset or whatever, on a silver TL!"

It is what it is. True, true. But what it looks like with those blue wheels is a civic.

I think that's very fair. I've noticed a lot of bad attitudes around here lately - to be honest, it's turning me off of the TL subforum - hell, even the guys in Ramblings are better behaved!

 

The wheel itself is a badass selection... f-zero blue CE28N is a tasteful wheel, but from this rear angle, it just doesn't go with anything on the car.

He can put whatever color he feels (like I did) but I don't get a sense of one-ness with the overall look..

yes ricers use those bumper diffusers..but people who race QM are the ones that really need these...and for one its not to decrease wieght..in fact the metal weighs more than the bumper you cut out of it...its to free up trapped air in the rear bumper...giving it a direct exit..and some racers use it to put their wheelie bars through it
