pics of my car (rolled fenders+flush fitting wheels)
Thought I'd finally amuse you with pics of my car. Here's my wheels and how it rolls every day:
After I rolled my fenders I decided to see what wheels would sit flush now that my 8" +45 advans looked kind of sunken-in. My buddy had a set of TSWs sitting in his garage, 19x7.5 (7.5...i know ew) with a +35 offset. These looked flush Result:
They could still use a spacer. Or at least could be a little wider. But I rode around on them and they rubbed on the bumper tab, so thats next on the list to get fixed.
Also, thats tein basics on their lowest setting in case anyone is wondering in their disadvantages. Rides very bouncy too. I may end up raising it up a little bit to ride better. Maybe next summer I'll get a set of ksports
Thats it for now. Let me know what you guys think.

my buddy and I split a fender roller rental. I did mine myself. Its pretty easy. Came out great, but as I was doing it, I guess I did a slight pull too, so now they are a tad bit wider too.
I'm from the part of philly thats 10-15 min away from horshram too.

Car looks good by the way.
it depends on the offset and tires and how far you want to push it

Thats where my friend rented his fender roller from. We split it and it came out to a reasonable price ($45 each after shipping charges)
If you want to roll your fenders I suggest you split it with a friend or two to make it more cost effective.

I am posting some pics of my first 2001 CL-S to help people with wheel offset choices. I am all about the flush wheel look and obsess over this aspect probably more than anything else. The wheels on this CL were Gewalt EVO III_19.0 x 8.0_38mm offset. The rear fenders barely rubbed and slight roll took care of it. As you can see, this is almost the limit of 'flushness' without any modification really.
NOW, on my 2003 CLS-6, I am planning on running 19.0 x 8.5_45mm offset front & 19.0 x 8.5_35mm offset rear. Can anyone on this forum tell me if that rear wheel will fit with a fender roll and pull? I know the front will work all the way around and be okay, but I want my rears to be slightly more concave than my fronts. And for those who will say the car is FWD and shouldnt be playing up a more aggressive rear wheel, my answer is, it's all about physiology. The rear of a car is like its hind quarters. To look the most pleasing, the strength should appear to be greater on the hind quarters EVEN though we all know it is a FWD.
So again, what does the group think about 19 x 8_35mm rear? Is it possible?
