Sick idea...maintenance sounds like it would be an ongoing issue.

Nobody creates products to maintain a "flat" black paint job.

Don't know what you would do but damn those cars look ill.

Reminds me of some "Batman" type of shit.

Believe it or not, its the same as any other paint. You just add a flattening agent to make it appear less shiny. Its still smooth to the touch, you can wax it.

If its a cheaper, rougher job, that aerosol furniture polish that smells like lemons actually works quite well.

Okay.

That sounds better than I imagined.

Honestly...I'm surprised to hear that maintenance is the same because it looks like it has no clear coat protective finish.

Flat paint jobs are kinda hard to do. if you do it DIY it takes alot of even coats to make it look even.

We built a CRX for GRM 2007 that was chalkboard green. took about 30 cans to paint that car.

Chalkboard paint comes in black too.
We did all the trim in Chalkboard black. much more durable than your standard krylon.

That is a beautiful beast of a crx you got there.
I like the colour and the chalk pattern on the hood. What does it run?

WATS UP everyone, i havent being on the forum due to my creation on my 2002 ACURA TL (NOT TYPE S). But i wanted to give you guys some details on my creation.Ive heard some people in here say theres no VIP TLS, but anything is possible, so thats where i come in, i dont have any pics cause my car is still under construction but ill tell u what it looks like. Its black with black leather interior, its super clean, it has a med FUSA with a gold tsuna ROPE hanging from the rear view mirror, its not dropped yet, i'm getting window visors.

On the front windshield i put a junction produce sticker in white, also one in the back top.

Things plan to get next, jp roof antenna, junction produce emblems on back trunk and fenders, also either air runner or tein basics coilovers, ect ect.

im planning on going flat black on my ssm when my cars done, i need the front end repainted bc of rock chips so might as well get the whole car done. along with flat black rims, and maybe some smoked headlight/fog overlays. it would be like a shadow at night.

Ok...this is the second thread I have spotted in the last 15 minutes.

Arnaldo...c'mon man!

Read the FAQ's or something.

If you didn't notice...each thread has a theme or is centered around a particular topic.

We get off-track sometimes but the point is to keep the content relevant to the subject matter.

def! i personally dont think the tls would look too good flat black. that legend looks hott, but i think the sharper lines of the body + rims + drop + kit make t ok so much better. the lines on the tl just dont make it as appealing.

my anyway

^ Maybe do a different black so you only have to paint the exterior.
