Help! loud noise coming from passenger side under hood

whats up acurazine?
I got a little problem. I turn my car on and it makes this weird constant squealing ticking noise under the hood. Its coming from near the top pulley/power steering fluid/top left of valve cover. I have no idea what it could be. When I turn the wheels at idle it gets louder for a minute then dies down but doesnt stop once the wheels are still. The sound keeps up when driving (acceleration makes sounds slightly worse) or idle. ALways gets louder when I start turning the wheels. Possible power steering failure?? Oh yeah It's an 05 auto TL. I use my car for work so time is a factor here. Hoping somebody can help me out! thanks

Sounds like your belt. Power steering failure is unlikely, check the fluid level, they should not have gone down much. I tend to believe it's your belt.

Checked all levels before the first post. Forgot to tell yall about that. Everything was fine except for coolant which I filled and the noise still goes on. The belt looks a little worn on the inside edge in a couple places. Is there anything in particular to be looking for to figure out if its a bad belt? And why would it whine more when the wheels turn?

Thanks for the input

go buy the o-ring,and HONDA power steering fluid from Honda.

Fix-it...
