Hi all, former Acura owner here looking for comprehensive list of differences in the MDX starting with 2007 model year and going to 2012. I've used the search function but couldn't find much. I know about the cosmetic makeover for the '10 year along with the revised engine and 6-speed transmission. I was hoping to find a detailed list of ALL the differences (assuming there are differences). Thanks for any help pointing me in the right direction.

 

Can't answer your question but if you want any questions answered about the '07 then let me know. We've had ours since new.

I'm trying to find out all the changes, not just the ones reported there. Perhaps it's a good place to dig deeper, though. Here's text from a MT road test:


"..........made better for 2010 by a fairly comprehensive sprucing.

What's spruced most of all is an all-new 3.7-liter V-6 engine featuring a higher compression ratio and a bigger throttle body girded by a stronger crankshaft and connecting rods, a more rigid block, and better cooling..........."

These are changes to the 2010 engine, as compared to the original engine in '07-'09 models. According to them it also results in a 5 HP loss.

These are the kinds of differences I'm looking for, as well as accessory upgrades, etc and I was just trying to find one source that had them all, instead of looking all over the web and hoping for accurate reporting.

If anyone knows if it's been compiled, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks again to all trying to help.

 

No problem OP. It's seems kinda hard to find a comprehensive review that goes a little more in depth without spanning the internet.

I even tried the Acura site, but didn't really get anything substantial.

I hope someone else might be able to chime in with a little more info.
