Just got a 2012 MDX Tech and looks like XM Note isn't enabled for Canadian vehicles?

The manual says to enable it, hold down the XM button and it will record 10 seconds of the song, storing the last 30 songs. Pretty neat feature, but doesn't appear to work on my 2012 Tech, despite the fact that is has the HDD for storing the XM Note.

Any other fellow Canadians can confirm this works, or for those in the US...am I doing something wrong to enable this???
