XM Navteq

Traffic flow indicators on my 2008 MDX navigation map are very limited and don't show nearly the coverage that's available from Navteq on-line. How do I upgrade? I drove a 2009 TSX loaner and it had the same limited coverage.

i noticed that too in my TL which i think has an even older system than your car. I think that the road on the navi system has to accept 'speed flow' properties, and so far, it seems that on my car only highway roads can accept such info. Eventhough navteq has information for major none highway roads in my area. My mom's 09 Mercedes ML diesel has all the info available, but my dad's 08 Lexus LS460 is in the stone age like my TL too.

I'm not sure how to upgrade, it might be as simple as Acura / Alpine releasing a new DVD for our system, or it might be deeper than that and it might be limited to hardware.

welcome to the forum btw.
