transmission cooler stock on 2010 MDX?
New owner here of a 2010 MDX tech. (Polished Metal/Taupe - 14K miles)
I sold my Tahoe and my BMW 335i (geez I am going to miss that car! sadness!) and will be using the MDX to town my boat (very short distances). I am taking my wife's TSX as my every day car and she will be driving the MDX to haul the kiddos.
My plan is to install a Valley hitch and wiring harness from etrailer.com myself.
I have read, starting with MY 2010, Acura has included a transmission cooler on all MDXs. Is this correct?

would highly recommend you get a dealer installed hitch on this car... aftermarket hitch will void your transmission warranty. Unless you want to have to go through the hassle of calling customer relations and arguing with them when your trans WILL go bad.

What does the brand of hitch have to do the trans breaking or voiding the warranty?

In pre-2010 models, he highly recommended the towing "package" because it involved the transmission cooler. In 2010+ he said install the quality hitch of my choice, Acura or other (Valley, Curt, Hidden Hitch).
Any voiding of warranty would be attributed to the lack of transmission cooling, not the brand of the hitch as they all bolt on to the exact same location.
