Took Delivery of My '10 MDX Today!
I got a call early this morning that my 2010 Advance+Entertainment MDX (polished metal metallic with ebony interior) had arrived and I could pick it up today if I wanted. Initially, I was going to wait until next week when my salesman would be back in town, but the sales manager at Jackson Acura assured me that my salesman would still get credit for the sale and that getting it today would ensure that I qualified for the sales tax exemption, so I headed on over and closed the deal this afternoon.
It's a beautiful vehicle, and the sophistication of the hard drive system & ipod interface is outstanding compared to the kludginess of the third-party system I had to use with my old 2007 MDX.
I've only driven it a few miles because we had other plans for the evening and I didn't want to park it where it could get door-dinged on its first day--but I'm eager to see how it handles on a longer trip this weekend!

2010 TL AWD 6MT: New King
Congratz! Let us know how the 6spd transmission fares. Smooth and quick shifting, I assume
I would be very curious to see what MPG you get, and how you feel about the advance package.
I've been eyeing an MDX for the longest time, but couldn't pass up the 6MT TL. Who knows, maybe in the future...

Congrats!! Having taken delivery of my 09 base back in November, I've now observed a few '10 models on the road. Let us know your fuel economy observations as well. (ours has proven to be a fairly thirsty beast.)

On a recent 240 mile trip @ 65mph tops, our '08 Tech averaged a little better than 24mpg. It was a nice surprise, I hadn't checked the road trip mileage before. I am confident of that mileage because I filled it up at start, and topped it off at the same place on the return trip. Around town, much less tho.....of course. Probably mid- to upper teens

I'm interested in how the 2010 MDX drives with the 6AT compared to the 2007 model:
- acceleration
- mpgs (city/hwy/combined)
- improved tech (blind spot, CMBS, ACC)
- ride
I'm a little surprised Acura didn't upgrade the interior dash to look somewhat like the ZDX. Maybe they are saving that for the all new MDX in a few years.

Someone needs to explain to me the obsession people have for wanting to see pics of someones new ride. People, we all know what an MDX looks like. Just stop by your local dealer and you can actually see what the actual color looks like- internet pics never duplicate shades of color exactly.

"This thread is useless without pictures"...like my black 2009 TL looks any different than any other black 2009 TL you have seen sitting on the lot...

Sorry but I disagree Man. I would know my car mixed in with several other cars in a heartbeat. And pics save us from going to look the car up on the internet. BUT I don't think this site is web friendly. You can't go from your computer to the website direct. You need to set up a host place to post. That is strictly '80's ...

Acura's resale is off the charts, so unfortunately I wouldn't bank on finding that good of a deal. Of course you'll save a little, but factor in financing used versus new and residual loss on the warranty/mileage, the argument for new is noteworthy.
I'm in the process of finding a used/new CR-V for my mother-in-law. She can get a new EX for $25,000 or a used 2007 for $21,000...hmmmm...buying a used Honda or Acura is a hard sell versus "new".
I've only seen one 2010 MDX on the road...as far as I know, nobody on Azine has posted 2010 pics yet...so we're curious to see detailed pics of someone's new 2010...yes they're online, but it's different when an owner gets to show off their new ride

Backs the Pack
I enjoy getting emails from the Acura dealer advertising 2009 certified MDX tech models with 4,000 miles for $1,500 more than what I paid for a brand new 2008 model.
Granted, a vehicle with 15,000+ miles will be cheaper, but I still find it amusing.
