Thinking about trading my mothers 05 mdx for a 07 mdx .

Any issues with 07 models ?

And will 2010 to 2012 grill fit without changing front bumper on 07

Please help

I had an 07, 08 and now the 11. As far as problems, nothing major, most were minor annoyances that were fixed under tsb's, especially for the 07 as it was a first model year run. For example, I had a wind whistle that would creep up after 70 mph. Found out it was a bad door on the recirculation/fresh air part of the a/c fan assembly. Acura replaced the unit and it was gone. Nothing that I had to make a special trip for, anything that was wrong or annoyed me I waited for each oil change and took care of it. The service dept at my dealership was always very helpful and were good at fixing it right the first time.

As far as the grille fitting I am not sure. I just took a peak at my 11 and I know the headlights are the same for each year but the lower portion of the grille and the bumper seem to be sticking out a bit farther, perhaps to accomodate the adaptive cruise radar behind the grille. I could be wrong but that is the way it appears to me. Besides, that will probably set you back a few hundred dollars. I don't think there is anything wrong with the 07-09 grille (except for the peeling which was taken care of by a tsb).

Good question... I'd like to know as well... but further to that, has anyone done a full conversion from a 2007-2009 model to a 2010-2012?

I'm talking about the front grill, front bumper and rear bumper?

Is this even worth it?

If I end up buying a 2009 model... make the conversion for a few grand... shouldn't I have just purchased the 2010 model to begin with?
