These pesky DRLs

Hi everyone, first time on the MDX side of this site...usually over on the TL side!

So on our 08 MDX, the "Check DRL System" notification came on, and we found that the passenger side was out. Assuming that the bulb was blown, we replaced the bulb, and the light worked for about two days and then the notification to check the DRL came back on. To my surprise, the passenger DRL was not working again.

This problem was on and off, and now it seems like the passenger DRL is not working at all.

Does anyone have any idea as to what is wrong -- is there an electrical issue, or is it as simple as changing bulbs again...and again...and again?

Thank you all.

Are the bulbs good quality? DRLs usually takes a good hit on the bulb because it doesn't light up completely making the filament susceptible to road bumps.. But if its only affecting one side then perhaps there is an electrical issue.

I have this posted over at another forum and they said to check if the connector is oxidized, so I'm going to check that.

It's just annoying, I'm so particular about our cars that this annoys me a lot haha .Thanks!
