Are these good prices for the 09 MDX?

I live in Houston TX and wanted to get some input on prices I just received.

$42995 Tech w/ent
$43995 Sport w/ent

From what I have been able to find these prices seem pretty reasonable, but I figured I should ask the experts!

I am not sure if this includes desitination fees etc. What else should I have my sales person include in the price? I guess I could ask for the out the door price.

On a separate note, I currently have a 2006 TL with 60K and thinking about trading it in on the MDX. What is the going price on TLs? Should I trade or sell on the side. The trade in would make the deal a lot easier for me, so I am taking that into consideration.

Thanks all!!

Howdy btrand ... there are couple of threads out there about the 08/09 prices, base or with option packages ... i guess it really depends on where you live and whether your local dealers are willing to deal or not .... I just got a sports/ent. here in bay area for 42500 (dealer threw in a 4-yr mainte. package) last month, not including any fees & taxes ... to me that's a good enough deal for me to bite ... you can do some compara-shopping if you have multiple dealers like I do here ...

As for the trade-in, my suggestion is to sell it privately as the dealer would always make some profit on their trade-in by low balling your TL's numbers ....

Good luck & let us know if you are to join the MDX family ... "thrilled" to find out there are 28 viewers on MDX just now .. normally it's less than 10 hanging out here ... LOL

Hey I'm in the same boat as you but I'm looking at the '09 Base MDX. The best deal I've got is $34,900 (including destination, but not taxes) out the door! That's $3000 below invoice!

Well, I've done business with these people for the last 5 years and have bought 2 previous cars from them. Most dealers could do $35,800 out the door but when I went to this dealer and told them what I wanted, they gave me full trade on my '08 TL and took about 7 grand off.
