Sway Bar Link?

First of all HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Now to what troubles me.. Lately I have been feeling a tump on my drivers side wheel which closely resembles that of a failing Sway Bar Link and I am wondering if this is a common issue or just the wonders of age? I ask this because my 2G TL-S was prone to this failure because of the weak ass links Honda placed that lasted 30K if tops.. Does the MDX suffer the same faith?

Thanks for any Replies!

I had the same thing on my front passenger at around 35,000 miles. It was a knocking/bumping sound with suspension travel like over speed bump/dip or even driving up a curb on a driveway. Tech found torn front endlink boot and replaced both. Zero sound once the part was replaced (for a while).

Sound came back about a month later exactly the same way, same driving conditions, and in the same area. Turned out to be a bad magnetic front strut that needed to be replaced. Struts was replaced and zero sound for +30,000 miles so far.

No issues with my RDX; but, I replaced them with aftermarket when I replaced my struts/shocks at 110,000 miles.

I snapped one of my rear OEM endlinks on my TSX right after installing a camber kit for the TSX. Upgraded to stiffer aftermarket around 100,000 miles.

Since mine has the Normal Shocks then it comes down to yet again Shitty Sway Links right?? Soo what did you get? In my TL-S I got the Mevotech (Stiffer) Links and they have been very good for the last 15K, Perhaps I will go that route So I don't have to worry about links in the future.

Go to rockauto dot com for the end links.
If you want to replace your sway bar rubber bushings, my Sport swaybar needed 24mm bushings.
I don't know what size the non-sport uses.
Tip on the bushings...remove both front tires.

^ Thanks! I already quoted them but Ill wait till 2016 (Shipping is very slow this week) and yes the Sport has a bigger OD Sway Bar so it has a different bushing..
MOOG Replacement Bushings:
Sport = MOK90554
Base/Tech/Ent = MOK90559

Some info:
MOOG part looks Flimsy as hell like OEM soo Ill skip it for the MDX...

The AC DELCO Professional Series looks way better and have greasing fittings as well I will try these instead of OEM..

I will post a DIY on its replacement when I receive it, If the bushings are worn too Ill post and Extra DIY on that (Obviously Picture Heavy)..

The Acura tech just put OEM back on since I was still under the 4/50,000 basic warranty for endlinks and magnetic struts failure.
