Suspension upgrade for MDX...

Just did a search on this and came up empty.

Anyone ever consider changing to stiffer suspension?
Maybe changing RSB's (if it has one)?

Something to make it handle better.

This is for the 05 model. Not for the newer models.

I have been looking for suspension for the MDX for a while. Still haven't been able to confirm which Honda/Acura suspension parts are compatible. I'd actually like to drop it an inch or two.

I think the ride is acceptable as is coming from a CL. I drive it like an SUV, not thinking its still a CL. Only thing i did was upgrade to 18s with Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza's.

^^Wow. Look at that shine. I better start taking better care of mine. Like the wheels as well.

As for handling...don't you wish it had just a tad bit less body roll?

Still searching and coming up empty on upgraded suspension. Been trying to look at the suspension setup of the new MDX and their "Sports Package" but getting nowhere/answers. I would swap out if it was a direct replacement just to see if would help. I know the rear sway bars are much thicker but no answer as to if it would fit.

I thought the TL had very little aftermarket support, but compared to the MDX, it might as well be a civic or a 3series.

Nice pics! I keep hearing from random sources that MDX and Pilot suspension are the same. However their part numbers are different. Nothing firm yet..

99% of the time now, i'm driving with the baby in the car so my old habits have been tamed . There are times where i do gun it on the on/off ramps but the roll is very minimal when compared to the Lexus RX or my mothers Xterra. I know the new tires stick better than the stockers so that helps a little.

And yea, good luck finding parts. I knew when i got it, wheels would be the extent of any modding. I'm just waiting on the second car
