Stone Chips

I have a 3 week old 2011 MDX and noticed I have 3 stone chips in the door edge guards on the rear doors. They are not from dings. I've also noticed that the pieces of 3M film acura installs from the factory get dirty quick so I figure its got to be the front wheels kicking up road debris.

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and how to remedy? Will running boards eliminate this issue?

You must drive on gravel or dirt roads alot.
Besides driving on better roads and having wider mud flaps
I bet run boards would help.
I considered this on my MDX ...
but only drive on paved roads and have no problem.
An once of prevention is worth a pound of cure or in this case a hundred or so pounds.

no gravel or dirt roads, that's why I've found this so strange.
