I bought a used 2006 MDX and did not notice until I took it to the Acura dealership that the Satellite radio cover was missing. The radio works fine; however, when it rains, I keep having difficulties. Does anyone know where I can find a satellite radio cover for it or should I buy a portable Sirius XM device for it? It has been frustrating because Gunn Acura wants to charge me $350 for the part and another $365 in labor. There has to be a cheaper alternative. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're talking about the antenna cover on the roof right?

If so you can find used ones on ebay in the various colors. You'll have to buy the whole antenna (which is around $50), and you could just pop the cover on yours.

Yes. I tried ebay; however, I bought a shark fin antenna and Gunn Acura told me that it would not fit. This has been frustrating.

I see a lot on there for the same year model TSX. I would look at the Acura part # for the MDX and compare it to the TSX part # to see if they are the same. If not, maybe one of the aftermarket hidden XM antenna's would be the best option for the money.
