Hey guys looking for some insight. I bought A 06 MDX for my daughter. Has racked up a lot of miles, 187,000 and counting. Had to put a front end on it as it was wrecked when I bought it. Lucky for me I'm a bodyman. I have had a few issues but have been able to work through them, but looking for help or suggestions on a few more.

First one, only half of the A/C control switch lights up. Buttons still seem to work but can't see at night. Second is the rear A/C controls. Do they work in conjunction with dash controls or separate circuit?

Any help would be appreciated!

 

Welcome! The dash light bulbs are known to go out.

If you're up to it, I suggest you replace all of them at once when you take the dash apart.

The rear A/C controls can be run independently, or controlled by the dash. There should be a button on the dash which enables the rear passengers to control their own climate.

 

Bulbs in dash are fine just in the control unit above the nav screen, Which turns on rear controls. only half of it lights up
